Alter Ego Facilities Management
Alter Ego Facilities Management, member of European Reliance Group of Companies, received the Golden Award in Facilities Management Awards 2020, for its cooperation with Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. Alter Ego received the award for the Prevention of the Spread of Covid-19 within Facility” in the category “Organization and Process Innovation”.
The Facilities Management Awards were organized by Boussias Communications and awarded businesses, organizations, entities and service providers for their best practices for total facilities management and their business activities in an exceptionally demanding environment.
The main criteria for the award were the effectiveness and readiness of Alter Ego via the Business Continuity Plan (starting on February 2020) that was implemented under the guidance of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center for the total of its services (cleaning, decontamination- disinfection- first aid, etc.) The Business Continuity Plan included the creation of a Covid-19 management team, the planning and implementation of a training system for the protection of employees and the visitors of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the prevention and treatment of cases of Covid-19 cases, the adjustment of a new flexible working schedule for the employees, the training of the firstline workers (mobile cleaning services), as well as the planning and selection of effective and innovative solutions for decontamination.
The Business Continuity Plan was planned by a team of scientific partners and qualified executives. Mr. Nikos Gkouskos, Deputy General Manager of Alter Ego, stated: “We are very pleased to receive this award, since it is the result of our hard work. The most challenging part of this plan was that we had to revise our plan many times, to be ahead of the developments. However, we worked as a team and implemented the right strategy and thus, managed to achieve our goal”.
